not bad, your right, they could be better... some PS could help, but then you don't want to use ps too much

Stick to shooting close to the car unless you have a nice background in the back, like photo 6 and on.

But good pics, keep working on it! I'm no expert myself but just some noob advice

Are you shooting in JPEG or RAW? It's all about post-processing to bring out the full potential of your pics... not necessarily PS.

I like the blacked out stock wheels on the Z. some spacers and 1" drop would make it look perfect!

To be honest, I cant really tell you, because I dont know how the camera fully works or wut settings I should be useing.. Im new to this so... But I shot most of them in auto mode, some I shot with Manual focus, and the rolling shots I put it on the "speed" mode. The Rolling shots are not perfect as you can see^ I need to play around with the settings...

I have the same camera but plan on selling it. Play around with the camera on M (manual mode) and P (programmable). Use Photoshop to your advantage. It can really help. For the panning/rolling shots, you're on the right track.

for automotive shots, location is very important. you want minimal reflections on the car from trees, poles, power lines, etc.. since they take away from a clean shot.

as someone mentioned, unless you have a gorgeous scenery behind you, use longer focal lengths for compression. keep the car as the main focus and the background something that isn't a distraction. for automotive shots, I prefer using a telephoto lens instead of a wide angle lens.

A few shots I took earlier this week for a visual explanation on compression with a telephoto lens and keeping the car as the main focal point and the background as a support.
