By the way, the S2k seems to be tuned for this race so maybe it had some advantage.....

the s2k was tuned by mugen says in the video...
when the camera switced to the s2k , checked out the bottom right states Mugen s2k....
and the z was something Z version S ...whats that ???any differeces????

 

I still think the Z should have perform much better though.....

yea, it was strange to see an s2k pulling on a Z in a straight....LOL at the RX8...they didn't even bother filming the driver after the first lap hahaha.

 

Was this an '07 Z. Not doubting the S2K handles better, but stock for stock, it won't pull on the Z like that. On the straights, that particular S2K was on par with the M3. It has a lot to do with corner exit speed, but that S2K still had some grunt.

In this video, the mugen tuned S2k posted a best lap of 1:07.17 and a time attack time of 1:06.45. The S-tune Z had a best lap of 1.08.17 and a time attack time of 1:08.11
