Default Yay or nay? Nismo Hood vents

Hey guys, I'm getting my hood along with my new Nismo V2 bumper painted and I was wondering if I should go for this. The pic is of Ninja350z's beautiful Z.

Yeah the guy who will be doing the work is amazing at this stuff. I just don't know what to do about the open hood since I wash my car alot. At least once if not twice a week.

I say do it and if you do, add mesh(or whatever its called) in the spaces. That would look even better.

Do it, but yes.. add some mesh, similar to this:

And don't worry about the water, just a quick wipedown on your engine should suffice or put a towel over that area when you spray down.

Personally I like the other hoods that are available. Plus I think a hood with a little more shape to it would add to the look of your Z anyway.
