Default Pics of my new motorcycle - SV

05 Suzuki SV650S...picked up today for a great deal. What do you think? I know there are a lot of motorcycle owners on the site, any SV owners?

Beautiful bike, I love the SV. The black frame looks great with the blue. I was in my only motorcycle accident on a naked SV of the same color.

Thanks guys. Its actually slightly taller than 600cc sport bikes, it is just dwarfed by the Mega Cab on a 2500 chassis. I am 6'4" and it fits me perfectly. Oh and it actually was a girl's bike, lol. Original owner (female) sold it to a soldier who put 500 miles on it, before getting news of his deployment.

How bad was the accident ctzn?

SVs are very nice bikes, great for around town. Cheap to insure too!

Nothing too bad, dislocated shoulder and a few bad scrapes and bruises, could have been a lot worse, it was a good learning experience.

Funny you mention your size, I am 6'3" and I love the more upright position of the SV for taller riders.

Enjoy it in good health!

Thanks guys. ^^^That doesn't sound too bad, but still no fun. I've had my fair share of dirt bike accidents, but haven't had the dreaded first lay down. I've had my motorcycle license 3 years, but haven't ridden much on the street until a few months ago.

Nice bike, I have the same year/color. Now you just need to sell me your fender eliminator kit!

Drive safe and watch for the many idiot drivers out there!
