Well it has the dampeners, fascia, interior, wheels, wing, and extra welding. Oh yeah there is also an extra brace under the hood.

New Z will not be out for a while they said. He said the new Z is going to be a "surprise" when ask about the powerplant.

Here is that extra brace.

well in black it looks pretty smooth even with that rear, no idea why they seem to be using the red for promotion which i think looks like ***

I'm not a fan of the rear either. I think it went kinda over board. But i'm getting tired of the term "rice" it's not rice, they're just trying to make it look more like a JGTC race car.

The car basically has the S Tune suspension as well as side & air curtain air bags standard. You try to buy all the parts & assembly a Nismo Z. You can't do it for the money. Plus you don't get the chassis stiffening welds. Thanks again VandyZ for the pics. Can't wait for mine.

I also have seen one in person at the NY Auto Show. I thought it looked pretty sharp, but am not a fan of the rear.

What is your opinion of the Nismo Z? Would you buy one? You know my feelings. I have already got one on the way.

LOL, well I ask if they were all pre-sold at this point and he said that if I really want one, he would locate one for me. He also said as of yesterday afternoon they had 3 on the books completed sales and in the new owners hands.

I really like the car. Its a nicely optioned Z that is maybe overpriced by 2 grand. Its got some racing technologies that are functional and really make this a drivers car. The issue I have is that it can most certainly be duplicated or trumped by a standard enthusiast with some aftermarket parts for much less money. In all honesty, I would much rather track a car that is not so limited and more personally prepped. That being said, YES I would buy one. Haha. I still like the car and would love having it as an more extreme street car that will turn alot of heads and have that rare appeal. You will be very happy with it.

Cool. I still have not seen one in person. I ordered mine on 5/29. The body kit sorta reminds me of the old BMW M3. I always liked the boy racer body kit. The Nismo Z's body kit is functional & being raced now in Japan. The neat thing is the Nismo Z is covered under the full factory warranty. Most of your aftermarket add ons are not. Getting it at invoice makes it a killer deal IMHO. I'll end up paying around $36.6K out the door. Hopefully mine will be in my hands next week. The cars ETA is July 16. Did you notice if it had VDC? VDC is not listed on the specs but I have been told that all US cars would have it. I just hope the numbers are limited.

Yeah you got a great deal! It had the VDC button. I think they said it was limited to 1500 cars in the US.

I figured the US lawyers would win out! 1500 would be just fine. I actually asked about the car in early May. I have a HS friend who owns the Nissan dealership. I asked him if his allotment of the Nismo Z was already sold. It wasn't & I was doomed! I have bought 2 Z's (this will be my 3rd) & helped my wife's friend buy one there as well. I wasn't sure on the pricing till last week. I figured since it was limited the price might not be so easy to negotitate. I was really happy when he said invoice!
