I was not a fan of the body at first (as seen in pics) but it has won me over. I dont understand how people can say its F&F inspired or transformers or whatever. The body kit is a functional piece, and is directly inherited from the Z JGTC race cars . . . cars that DOMINATE that series from what I understand. That does not make it a race car, but I like the fact Nissan is embracing their involvement in racing a bit more. That is one major thing Nissan has lost over the years in the states, by dropping most race programs they had going.

I don't see how it is F&F or rice... There aren't stickers everywhere and the body parts are functional if you ever go to a track. Now I'm not sold on the new Nismo kit, but it isn't rice.

I don't care how functional it is, it's ugly. When I buy a street car I want looks balanced with performance and a good price tag. If it were a car dedicated for the track fine, put whatever you want on it. I much rather see the nismo z have a nice clean body kit (or none at all) and a killer suspension/brake/tire setup since that's what's going to be most useful on a street car and yield bang/buck performance. Not some ridiculous body kit that adds 5 lbs of force @ 120mph while mucking up the lines of the car. I don't know about you but I know of plenty of cars that don't have ridiculous body kit setups that will have no problem ripping the nismo z a new one on the track. If they want to incorporate more downforce/diffusers there are cleaner ways to do it than that. Besides how many people you think that are going to buy it are ever going to take it to a road course and utilize that ridiculous looking kit?

Can't please everyone. Just glad Nismo pleased me! Keep it limited. Those who know appreciate it. The others just don't get it.

I like the JDM version better, the front bumper without the side reflectors..

I love how some of you think you know more than Nismo about building a Z. The Nismo Z has the chassis, brakes, suspension, rims & tires set up to outhandle your cobbled up Z with the chrome 20's, coil overs and the crappy knock off body kits. If you don't like the body kit fine. Just appreciate the car for what it is. The first US factory Nismo Z car every built. The car is not for everyone. Only a few will truly get it. Just don't be jealous when one pulls up beside you........

You're one of the idiots paying 40 grand because it says "Nismo" on it, aren't you?

Edit: I just saw your signature, I guess I was right.

Sweet looking car. Getting a littled tired of the endless whining about the body kit.

dude why are you getting so mad. People have opinions. So some people dont like the look. Is everyone supposed to like it because you do. You just put down 99% of Z owners in your post. Well most people think our "cobbled" up Zs are nice cars. Unfortunatley you dont.
