NNA brought out the 2007 Nismo Z to our Z club meeting tonight. Its much better looking in person if the fascia has scared you in pictures. I took some pics of the body dampeners that I had not seen yet.

I'm not feeling the rear bumper but aside from that, the whole car looks gangsta!

 

There are Z's on this site that look 10000000000000 times better than that Nismo. I would never buy that overpriced Z.

Front looks good, the rear is hideous. I have no clue what nissan was thinking putting that bumper on the car- too much JGTC. But that car isnt meant for everyone either, hence the limited amount manufactured. The dampers are interesting, wonder if you can order those from Nissan for the existing Z's. I love the wheels the most, looks sick in that gunmetal color.

The new Nismo Z is great for JDM, but the looks (read: rear end) are just too over-the-top for here. It's ironic that a name as iconic as Nismo now has the potential of bringing the "rice" reputation to the Z. Ironic...and sad.

 

Just want some one to start re-producing the body kit . Im sure all the front fascia , side skirts , rear bumper will fit older z 's . In fact im going to talk to my nissan parts guy tommorow .

It looks much better in person, trust me. The only people who will think of it as rice, are those who embrace that sort of thing.

 

its not ricey, I havent seen one in person yet, but that back bumper looks kinda voltronish to me

 

Cool! I know those guys from Crawford from Zdayz! They made us Margaritas during the poker run at one stop in a blender with a chainsaw motor!

As for the Nismo, I'm glad it's out but let's face the music.
It's a Grand Touring Z with:
1) Different Front bumper
2) Different side skirts
3) Different Rear bumper
4) Leather replaced with special red fabric?
5) A Number plate
6) Nismo exhaust
7) Front/Rear dampers
8) Powder coated GT wheels
9) Rear spoiler
10) Nismo badge/tach

If you don't like ONE of these, it's not impossible to get a BASE, and add all of these to your liking. Personally the only thing specific to this car I like are the wheels.

A bit of a let down that the power train was not improved.
