Default A few new pics...including stereo...

Well, these are by no means a 'photoshoot' of my car...just was walking in from lunch and couldn't resist snapping a few pics...

These are the first pics i've posted since I put the eyelids on I think...also, just finished up the stereo(for now...it'll morph later)...enjoy! oh...and the last one is of my girlfriend....she's great...she put up with me working on the car the past two weekends ALL weekend...and even helped out quite a bit with making the sub box and installing it!!

nice car. your stereo setup is ok. those wires need to be hidden. I could never put my amps right there. Too easy for theives.

haha...don't worry about that guy...it doesn't bother me if people have negative comments about her. The pic doesn't do her justice, and anyways, as long as I think she's hot...that's what matters

thanks for the comments on the car! I agree about the wires too...but i'm not sure how I can hide them anymore than just tucking them right around the edge of the box? any suggestions?

Inside, i'm still running stock speakers...the 300/4 isn't being used....YET. I'm just tired of working on the thing...the Box took WAY TOO LONG to build because of all the screwed up angles on it. the bottom piece is the ONLY one that wasn't at an angle...yuck. Anyways, I'm looking at maybe going with the Focal components...but we'll see...that's ALOTTTA money. I also want to get a new headunit to run GPS and dual screens...but that's all down the road.

thanks man!...actually, when I was building the box, I took care to not obstruct anything more than just losing that little bit of 'trunk space'. The box and amps do not stick up any higher than the rear ledge does as you look out the rear view mirror...so my view remained the same

well, they'd have to get them off the box...cuz the box is pretty much stuck in there And...i dunno if you noticed...but my windows are tinted so dark...that you can't really see it...which is why I paid a lil extra to get the black amps, so they wouldn't be easily visible thru the tint

I agree on the wires being hidden...I just didn't know how to cleanly do it...it was the cleanest solution I could come up with...

Nice equipment, although those dub7s deserve much more airspace to get them properly loud. I can imagine those things having much space at all in that little box. your g/f looks cute, goofy, but cute... dont let those mess wit ya!

Actually, the 8W7s(which is what they are) only require 0.875 cubic feet each...and the enclosure I have built is nearly exactly that, per sub! give or take .02 cubic feet of course

Thanks for the GF comments She definitely is goofy...but i like it, plus, what else can you expect when you date an Electrical Engineer(it's so rare to find a girl EE!!!)

Again, if you don't get my statement, WATCH MORE DVDs! Or try Google, at the very least. It will dawn on you, I promise
