If I had to do it again, I'd save up for a works bell slim QR. There is a little play due to the way it locks into the ring (its sturdy), but thats not why I wouldn't buy it. What concerns me is that the metal in the NRG slim QR (other than the red ionized ring) is cast aluminum. Thats probably why I would rather get the works/bell. IThe NRG literally is cheaply made, and you can see it in the craftsmanship. I can't comment on NRG's other QR's though.

I highly doubt the nrg slim QR will fail under normal usage, because of the simplicity of the design, but I do have my concerns. When I have the funds I probably will switch it out to the Works Bell Slim QR.

As far as positioning goes, I love it with the nardi deep corn. I can still reach the turn signals (without taking my hands off wheel), and I can have the concave design of the wheel (and it sits a few MM closer to me). I find the regular QR I have to take my hands off the wheel.

sorry, i was refering to an offset steering wheel. If i use a regular works bell/hub combo w/ a offset wheel like the deep corn, I find it a bit of a reach for me (I got small asian hands).... With a regular steering wheel, I have no problems.

Damn, I gotta admit the team orange suede steering wheel and team orange QR is my dream setup. Too bad when I went to order the suede wheel was sold out.....
