Default My new ride that can SMOKE any Z here!!

Of course it does weigh significantly less and has half as many wheels.

Its a 98' CBR F3. Got it for a steal ($1200 friend of a friend)...

...but rest assured i still love my Z

By the way, if this belongs in OFF TOPIC feel free to move it...i didn't know where to put it.

Heres my little toy. By far the fastest 929 in Dallas. When freshly bought the bike frame was completely chromed. The head crank and cam reworked. D and D exhaust. Absolute screamer. I can go 80 before shifting into 2nd. Heres a pic but not a very good one.

Drug dealers put alot of money into bikes. I happen to buy this one from a US marshall drug seizure auction.

Yamaha boy huh.... I actually liked you for a while. One of these days you'll ride a honda and change your mind. Next you come to Dallas I'll let you ride mine. Bring a seat belt.

Dang! It's easier to get a gun in VA than it is to get a motorcycle permit...

I've been thinking about getting a motorcycle and looked into getting a license. First you have to get and hold a learners permit for 30 days or take a 2.5 day class with the first opening in October. And, $90 to boot.

How f'd is that???

And how does this work? You can't ride a motorcycle until you have a license, and I can't get a license until I pass the motorcycle driving course??? Seems like without a sponsor you have no hope of legally obtaining a license.

I've had mine to 191 indicated (prob more like 175) I think...but anybody can do that in a straight line.

When I looked down I was shifting in to 5th and was at 155. I still rode through that and started slowing down at the end of fifth. Who knows how fast 175-180 I guess.

Pretty much all of the modern sport bikes do somewhere between high 2's and low 3's in the 0-60. Could do better with a wheelie bar.
