Default Video of my Z on the "Heartbreaker" dyno

Mods in sig and video. 210 whp. Ouch Damn you Dyno Dynamics! lol

There was a bone stock 04 G35 that ran before me, and he only put down 198 whp.

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/glRUYL4S4Ho"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/glRUYL4S4Ho" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Pretty loud huh? It's tough driving with cops nearby, and I'm sure my neighborhood loves me whenever I drive home late at night.

Does any one else with the same mods as me actually shoot flames like mine? When I saw them, I thought my car was running really rich, but then the dyno operator showed me my a/f and it seems to be ok.

So am I lol

As far as I know, there isn't anyone with a Dynojet within 100 miles from me. If there was, I would have gone to them instead.

yeah id probly be alittle upset but just so you know flames arent always from running rich it can also come from whats called after burn. F1 cars do the same thing its pretty normal. Has to do with exhaust design and how the leftover fuel exits the heads and flow down the exhaust manifolds.

I hit 230 on a dyno dynamics, uncorrected. they're all slightly different.
I'm convinced best way to compare power is trap speed. I trap 101 at 3133 lbs, so i correlate that to 230whp.

There's nothing "heartbreaker" about it if you automatically assume your car is making xx% more power than it really did.

With just exh/tp's? That sounds more like Dynojet territory

I doubt there is a discrepancy in the dyno.

Take it to the drag strip and post up your time-slips.

Dyno dynamics will read about 17% lower than anything around. Now DD did come out with an update to ajust the readings but it just depends if that dyno has them installed and the DD update seemst o inflate the number more than they should be. Local c6 z06 made 600rwhp on one with headers, exhuast, and a cam. Little bit high. But a DD is the best for tuning on.

I think the flames is due to not having any back pressure. I could be wrong, but you have test pipes and a true dual exhaust. Cats are there for are there for more then just the emissions.

Still looks cool, my bike does that. Sorry for the low numbers though.

Not true. Where do you get these numbers from???

The vendors on this board with DD have measured against local dynojets with about a 13% variance. ALL dynos will be different, even on different days in different conditions.

Percentage corrections are stupid. If you want Dynojet numbers then go run on a Dynojet.
