I can't find the thread that goes step by step on how to do it. All I'm worried about is resealing the lights.
There's a few different step-by-step threads in the DIY section; each thread has a different way of doing this.
The sealant on the headlights will eventually cool, during the time you have them taken apart, and harden. When you, first, get the headlight apart, smoothen the sealant on the edges of the clear headlight cover (it'll probably look like stretched chewing gum); this will allow the headlight cover and housing to go back together easier. Once you get the cover seated to the housing, use a heat gun to soften up the sealant and further seat the cover (this will allow you to get the clips back together). Once the clips are in and the headlight is firmly put back together, use a silicon sealer to fill in any air pockets around the edges.
