Hey all,
Been lurking here for a while and finally got my camera working. Just wanted to say thanks to all for the great information. I was a former S2000 owner until some A$$ Hole stole my baby. Anyways, I am extremely happy with my new TRACK as you can see in the pic. The S2K will be missed, but the 350 more than makes up for my loss.

Wow, a friend of mine asked the same question when I bought the Z. Well after putting 2k miles on her, I would have to say that the 350 beats the S2K in my opinion, not by much though. However, there are alot of ups and downs to this statment. The S2K felt as though you are more in contact with the road, as the suspension was very stiff. Canyon drives were great with the top down. However to extract that 240hp, I had to keep the revs above 6k rpms. People have complained that with the top down that it was too windy and the noise level was to high, which meant you had to crank the volume on the radio to the max when criusing on the freeway. For me, I could care less about the radio or the wind, If I did I wouldn't have bought a convertible. It is just like the people complaining about the stiffness of the suspension on the Z......If you want comfort go and buy a 4 door sedan of some sort, what do people expect when they buy a sports car! The Z on the other hand, TORQUE
gobs of TORQUE
I want to baby her for another 1k miles and it is getting harder and harder every day that on-ramp appears!. The Z has more amenities, and I guess what I am trying to say is that, as a all around performer the Z gets my vote. Ok, OK, the NAV made this a biased decision
. The August issue of Road & Track has a comparison between the S2000 and the convertible 350Z, check it out when you have time.

Thats pretty much what i wanted to hear
i just closed out the G35c as an option for me this weekend, After going to sit in the interior on saturday.
I decided that i wanted the more aggressive look and feel - the G looks great, but just different than the Z, which just feels set up to push to the limits.
I now have to go back to the honda dealer
the s2k seems a lot smaller too, which is another downside for me, But with the praise of torque i really think my mind is already made up
thanks for the insight

NoleC5 : I am 5'6" - that being said, I fit perfectly in the S2K - the 350Z has a bit more room and with the space going back to the trunk it feels alot roomier.
Selski12: Thanks, and I hope to meet with you guys one day. Take care.

I had a hard time deciding between the S2000 and the 350Z. I love the looks of both cars. I was looking for a convertible at first. But the thing I wanted most was power, and torque. You definetely need to drive both cars to make a final decision.
First I drove the 350Z. First thing you notice is the amount of torque at low RPM's. This is what I wanted. You don't have to smack the snot out of it to make it go. Power is smooth, engine quiet, just the sweet sound of the exhaust. Simple interior, spaciouse and comfortable.
Then I went and test drove the S2000. Nice and snug fit, easy reach to everything. However, not too much play with the seat. If I was any taller (I'm 5"11) I would be uncomfortable. Off the start, first thing you notice is lack of torque. You need to rev it way up before you feel the car come alive. The thing that stands out on the S2000 for me is it's cornering capabilities. Man, it's as if the car does not even lean. It's like driving a go cart. Try a U turn at normal speeds without slowing down and you'll know what I mean. Very impressive.
After driving both cars, I bought the 350Z. Power comes on smooth and effortless. Another plus, its a V6. I didn't want another 4 cylinder car.
