Default a few pictures of my new diffuser

nothing terribly exciting, but I just got the diffuser on my car yesterday. I took some pictures in the driveway, and figured since I have them, I might as well share them. Enjoy.

Those mud guards ruin the look man... The diffuser looks pretty good, but would be better if it were painted black.

Yah, I'm going to ditch the mudguards at some point, but I need to get some other sort of rear "something" to go there. I don't like the look with nothing there. As for not painting it black though, I thought about it, and figured I'd try something different than the usual black. My buddy does paint work at a local shop, and he just mixed some random stuff up with me to try and get a similar finish to the wheels. In person it's sort of a flat gunmetal with a faint hint of goldish bronze to it. I got it from the HR Autoparts in the marketplace on here. They had an April sale on them.

haha, once I got it on, I started wondering that too. I guess I can add that to the ever growing list of things I want/need.

So diggn' this look. I say keep the splash guards, it makes the car look wider. As for the choice in color.....nice choice. I think it makes the diffuser stand out a bit more without being too loud. Great job now lower it more, LOL.

+1 my thoughts exactly. It looks like everyone is starting to get this piece now, it looks good a little different. I like the mudguards on there!

Not a functional diffuser because it just goes ontop of the rear bumper. Lets call it a rear add-on.

haha, fine, we can call it whatever you want Mr.Picky. But yah, it's in no way functional, it's just for looks. Thanks for the compliments by the way though.

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly does a "real" diffuser do?

I like it! I want one and I wondered what it looked like not painted black. I wonder what one would look like painted the same color as the Z's body...

haha, I can change the title of the thread to "a few pictures of my rear add on(NON FUNCTIONAL DIFFUSER.......I REPEAT NON FUNCTIONAL DIFFUSER)" if that helps you guys. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but come on, less than 20 replies, and three of them are you guys saying it's not a real diffuser.
