You're right, those were your opinions and you gave them to him. Do you really need to put words in such a way that is hurtful? If you thought what I said were "negative comments (which as you say, was MY opinion)," how do you think your and others' words were like for him? Especially since it was multiple comments, jokes, put-downs, etc. That constitutes harassment. You guys think it's ok for you to say something others may not like, I will do the same. You don't like it? Life's not fair, get over it.

If you don't like it, that is fine. However, that does not give you reasoning for saying such negative comments. Give constructive criticism, not harassment. Last time I checked, your cars were nowhere near perfect and if it is/was (which I very strongly disagree since I haven't seen a single one that was remotely close to what I'd call perfect), then the driver wasn't (attitude, personality, skills, etc).

If people thought it was necessary to comment negatively soley based on the premise that their tastes differ, then by the same logic, it must be ok for me to say some negative things to them. I already had this discussion with another member and I thought it was solved. Let's not bring that back up.
