Default I finally decided to put on my tints

What else to do when your car is sitting in the garage waiting for a motor. So i did a couple of stuff. Paint some engine parts, tint my windows and deff take some random pics.

I decided to tint my windows 5%. Yes, that might be dark to some of you but ive had 5% on my previous cars, never pulled over and absolutly love it.

one thing i gotta say though, DAM WHAT A MAN I AM. Not ONE SINGLE buble in the whole tint. Now time to do the passnger side

Here are pics

and some random pics

The 5% tint looks great on the Z. I wish I could do that here. I can't wait to see the rest of the windows tinted to see how much you can see inside. I have 35% and it still feels like a fishbowl.

Gotta give it to you, OP. You got skills with tint! That's a really, really good looking job.

I've 35% (blocks 35% light/allows 65%) and my car feels like I'm in a cave! Did you do/are you going to do the hatch as well?

Don't you mean it allows 35% of light in? The lower the % the less amount of light is allowed in.

Thanx guys. This is actually my 4th tint job ive done.

quakerroatmeal - I'm using a Canon 40D. those pics arent that great anyways. and i forgot which tint i went with but i think its lumar or somethin glike that. it was 10 bucks a roll at advance auto. and we dont have inspections here. Only emissions test but nobody checks tints during emissions. LOL

ved- thank god they cant see my face. i feel like a superstar dude. Try driving through getto with this car. People like come up to your window like zombies and ****. LOL guess they never seen a z.

thanx. and the hatch, i might go with 20+% just because i need to see people behind me at night. Especially the Five-O. I might try it myself but peronally ive never tried to do tints over the defogger wires. We'll see how that goes.

With tint that dark, people will just touch your windows more and leave finger prints so they can look through it jk. But that does get annoying.

i need time to think about this. I wouldnt really trade the whole wheel though. Ill give you my spokes for your spokes. cheaper and i get to keep my own tires.

ill see though.

I say you keep the gunmetal. It will go better with your tints plus it will save you the hassle of trading.
