Default New blacked out lights yay!

So we got a buddy of mine to help us out with getting this Lamin-X stuff put on we have had it for months but havent had the time to do it so the day has come. We dig it but the guy that helped us is a V Dub enthusiast and he wasnt too fond of the way it looks. What do yall think?

We are working on the night pics the light output is almost the same as not having them on there. Its Lamin-X its a film tint that ya just lay over your lights like a big sticker that does no long term damage to them. The have them precut to the model of your car or you can buy it in sheets and cut and fit it yourself.

i would suspect that lamin-x probably means laminate like regular sheet tint.

Not a fan of the blacked out lights, but to each their own. If you like it that's all that matters.

Not a fan of blacked out lights either, the red gives it a better contrast.

Do you really think that moderators (and admins) somehow know whenever somebody just calls them out for whatever reason embedded in a thread like this? We don't read minds nor do we go searching for "mods," you know. You need to PM us or report the post/thread. Look how long it's been since you asked for the move and still nothing. Just letting you know how you could get things done faster.

OP, it looks pretty good, but too dark (read: too much contrast for an otherwise stock Z).

The 06'-08' taillights should be left alone it's the 03'-05' tail that should be tinted (IMO)

Love how dark the rear blinker came out....where did you get the pre-cut Lamin-X film at?

when I had my PPW I blacked out the tails and well it just didn't look right to me. It doesn't flow well, but it's your car and that is all that matters.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I dig the new lights and although the red does give great contrast I dig the total black and white. It will flow nicely once im done with all the outer mods I want to do.
