I finally got my nuts! I can't believe I had to get nuts and bolts for the intake and had to bend the bracket. I would think a $300 intake would come with all that. Here it is finally installed.




It rattles at 6krpms so either i have to tighten things up or I need to replace the hump hoses. They really seem to allow the intake to move when in high rpms. There is a definite increase in power and it sounds really nice in the high rpms.

This intake doesn't impress me at all. Like the OP said, a $300 intake was suppose to come with all nuts and bolts. Instead, he had to go buy them. Not only that, it also rattles too? This also looks like a replica of Mines intake system.

 

lol... I don't think mines makes an intake. I checked their site and found nothing so i'd like to see what you are talking about. Intake goes for $500, would never pay that price. It makes me happy so that's what matters, I'm sure an 06 air box will do the same.

 

Looks nice. I can't tell from your picture, does the CF box seal up to the square inlet tube in the front?

thanks ... no, it doesn't seal up to the intake guide... I figured out that is what is shaking at 6k so i gotta get the clip. It never came with the car

 

mine nevered rattled but its sounds f**king awesome
