I know what you mean im not a fan of that either.. thats why I didnt paint them and NEVER will.. like I said I did this just for fun.. and whenever I get bored of it, it wont take more than 5 min to take off, ya know.

I like it. Not a fan of using tape as a permanent solution but if you're on the fence, its a great way to find out if you can live with a time attack style wheel. Getting tires mounted will probably destroy the tape job, but at 10 min per wheel do you really care?

Gotcha. I hope you didn't use the exacto ON the wheels and cut into the clear coat.

I like the TA look. I think some other color then red would also look good. It's always red...

Nope I didnt use the exacto on the wheels.. just used it on minor things

other colors would look good, Iam doing my friends black M3 with yellow brembos and yellow stripe.. should look nice.. but red I think is the only thing that matches in my car =/ lol

I was going to make a DIY.. but havnt gotten around to it yet ive been busy. Just need to know what your doing really and prep the wheel etc etc
