BTW, that shroud that goes over the ARC oil cooler, is that held down by rivets or is it removable and held by screws?

I've not seen one in person. I want the lettering in colors... ARC. I refuse to FI my
car. That would be the beginning of the end. Brakes are my next feast.

what is the difference between the interlagos and the brickyard paint? doesn't seem really all that different between the 2....

Thumbs up

Finally some new lock nuts. I know its nothing big. Its one of those mods I've been meaning to upgrade, but always overlooked because of other parts on my list. Here's a few snaps last night when I installed them. My rims are a little dusty from garage kept so please excuse the mess. My car is going in for paint next week woohoo

JDM forged lock nuts in deep black.

From L-R: muteki -> enkei -> standard. Its nearly half the weight of the standard lug nut (muteki 36g/standard 60g). Slimmer, shorter, and lighter.

Before.....

.....after

Proof of my 5.25" lip. It looks much more meaner IMO w/the deep black lock nuts. No curbage on wheels FTW!

Awesome setup... you should consider red lug nuts in the future.. they would set your car off nicely

Those really aren't locking nuts...the "key" for those are garbage as well...they tend to warp/snap very easy so be careful.

Edit: What are you getting painted?

+1 on being careful, however if it requires a key, they are technically called lock nuts; hence the requirement of a key to open them. I've had these type of lock nuts with previous cars as well and never had a problem with them stripping or wearing down. This is my first time though with forged ones and its even stronger. I hand tighten it first then secure them with a torque wrench so I'm not stabbing or jerking at it when I'm tightening/loosening them.

Thanks for the tip, but I don't want to add more accents to my wheels. The SBC holds ground well on its own I chose deep black because they look more meaner and doesn't take anything away from the overall wheel.

^ Sorry, but neo chromes for my set up .....maybe if I had some gram lights w/titan lip. Other than that no thanks. IMO those open end neo chromes make me want to throw up..... actually any that are open end. That's just me though , everything is pretty simple and not too loud.

Damn man, I expected more than Muteki's from you too. At least something in higher quality. I had Kics on up until last night on several of my wheels but ended up switching to WORK RS'. No shot of the RS' yet but here are the Kics I had. I think they bring a perfect level of contrast to the wheels.

[Thanks for the shipment by the way , most likely dropping everything off for paint next week]

Thanks for the tip Randy. Isn't Muteki a good brand? I've heard nothing but good things about them which is why I went with them + its not too loud. If SSR made lock nuts I would have bought them. I will admit those neo's look good on your wheels, but still not for me

Muteki is a perfectly fine, reliable brand... Ive had like 20 sets of their lugs on all kinds of different cars and never had a problem.

Also... Mike, I wanna f*ck your rear wheels. And the fronts too. haha

Muteki's are perfectly fine but some extended black rays would looked a lot better. Plus they come with real a actual lock and not just a spline drive lug. But since he rarely drives the vehicle I don't think he has to worry about it being stolen lol. I just thought everything else is pretty nice why not some lugs too, all the little details count on this car!
