Juan, I was showing my brother and close friends this pic and they also agree with you in all aspects. Funny how you phrased your post.....its pretty much dead on with what people close to me have to say.

I guess I'm in the minority but your old wheels were teh sex!

Chris, I don't think I'll ever surpass the look of my setup with my SP1's. As much as I loved that combo, it was time for a change. One thing that smooths out that aggressiveness is the polished lip. I felt that the step lip on my SSR were a little sloppy and this lip kind of puts it all together. Of course IMO

The 245/35 combo'd with 275/35 had a big difference as opposed to stretch. The 245 was way more pulled than the 275. My best bet was to go 255 up front this time and its about 3/16 thinner than the rear and 1/8" shorter than the rear. I still get slightly meatier tires in the rear, but the marginal difference is very minute. It was a lot of math, but in the end it came out perfect.

Your previous set up was definitely among the best. And your opinion is the most valuable one when it comes to your car. As long as you're satisfied, and you're willing to share with us your progress, we're satisfied.

In the last pic you posted, are your offsets +17 and +24, or are you running the 3mm and 5mm spacers?

Another quick question, why did you go with a 255/35 up front instead of a 245/35? Any reason in particular?

lol at people flipping out over just your average set of volks. Look nice nonetheless. Although I was hoping to see some 275f 305r with the relatively conservative offsets.

You are right, but I think you are missing the point. Anyone can get a set of Volks, but its how you make EVERYTHING work that really makes a difference. Go two pages back and see *ICE* and his car. He has the same car color as me and wheels, but we have a different body kit, hood, height/stance, I have a wing + non painted headlights, different center caps & lug nuts and a couple more different things. Now take a look at mine and you will see a COMPLETELY different looking car.

Thanks guys. I was parked next to my friends yesterday, a Rx7 FD and NSX. Mine was in the middle and it dwarfed both cars with my 19's. Makes me want to go slammed again or possibly drop to 18's

i know, tire specs are just as important as wheel specs, it can make or break the car. now, take a pic at the same angle to compare plz
