Well I guess I have been having too much fun with the Z. I think I am around 1,000 miles on these tires.

my rear tire........it went POP

maybe I should get a camber kit and a lighter right foot??

Luckily I wasnt far from home when this happened

Damn man! You can see the ghostly remnants of the directional tread, not to mention the steel belts.

You really let them ride out that low? Just be glad they didn't "pop" and come off, destroying those expensive TE-Time Attacks.

don't really think a chamber kit will help you since the ENTIRE rear tire is bald...

well they did see about 5 track events 3 auto-x with a lot of sideways action, and 2 times drifting so they held up well.

The car is only driven on weekends so I put the 1,000 miles on the car since Sept 1st

50 % of miles are driving to the track and home
25% are prob events
25% are cruising the town on sundays that it isnt raining.

So it is 1,000 hard miles.

Last month I only put 140 miles on the car

this is why I am powdercoating my OEM tourings (mag blue!!!) and using dedicated tires for those rims. The TA's will be just for cruising the town now. I got very scared and was lucky the rim was OK
