Finally, got my 2004 Base. After a long year of reading everything on this site for research. Those of you waiting on your order, there are so may 2004 models on lot right now. They are making so many of these. More than 32.600 were sold. Reminds me of the guy in Rockville Nissan telling me its a limited production car and only making 30K of them. What a ********ter these salesguys.

I got it at Carmax. They had a base model on every dealership within 100 mi from my zip code. SS was my first choice. I went to a dealership looking at a SB one but the salesguy was a snake. Trying to make me pay 2K over msrp by mixing the numbers cause I look young. After I told him the deal at CARMAX and left, he called back and left vm not to be embarrased if I wanted to go back to him if CARMAX can't give me the deal.. Its CARMAX, no haggle.
Just go to nissanusa.com and do search. I'm sure you'll find alot of 2004. Just remember to put 2004 instead of 2003. They have so many in stock and don't be fooled when they tell you its going fast. THey have more Zs than they can sell those dealerships.
The nav door stays open and out forward like the side view pic. It doesn't slide in like the 2003. It looks ok but its more secure than the 2003. Inside is the felt material which is a light black color and the flash made the color look funny.
hey, ive got a question for you. I just ordered that identical car. How is the base stereo? I know mine is going to be replaced, but I hope it is bearable for 6 months or so.
