It's really funny how your friend "Rickdogg" is now the anti-Rota guy on this forum after you were banned for a period of time. For those of you who don't know, "Volk350Z" is Brian@Mackin Industries (US Importer of Volk Racing wheels) and has been caught by my350Z admins for registering fake accounts to bad mouth Rota wheels all over this forum. I'd be happy to post all the IP logs of your accounts, threatening emails that you sent through our site form (our site does log your IP everytime you go on it Brian), etc.. I've had this info for the last four months and have choose not to post any of it as I do not stoop to those levels, however what you are doing in this thread.. really.. it's just sad..

Where is the car that this wheel was on, what happened to the car to cause this sort of wheel failure, etc..

The Rota P45R wheels are VERY DURABLE and have been out for 4+ years. This is by far the most common Rota wheel on this forum and there are hundreds and hundreds of 350Z's running these wheels without a single issue. You are welcome to view the official Rota P45R thread here for all the guys running these wheels with excellent results and to prove how strong they are....

I just saw a picture of the wheel with a Nismo sticker on it and laughed. I never stated anywhere that I had issues with its durability; other users on here did. I don't have to worry about the full story playing detective because I don't have to worry about a simple picture possibly ruining dirty money funneling through my account from replica sales. Like I stated in my previous post, I don't have a problem with Rota customers purchasing wheels if that is what makes sense for them, but there has be a line drawn somewhere. Lets not deflect from what I stated as why I have a gripe with posers.

Here's my posts from other threads that do not have any issue with the end user making their own decisions when purchasing items.

Reference a basic list of how much "stealing" Rota does below. This is not the case of Robin Hood here guys. Making an honest living is one thing, but when it involves indirectly stealing from others, there naturally is not much sympathy in people's hearts. I believe the people bashing his business practices would find another product to sell or do something else to make an "honest living" if they were in his shoes.

The truth of the matter though is during economic times like this, inferior goods (economics term not that the product is completely horrible) tend to sell really well. Good examples would be Coca-cola vs. store brand cola etc. Couple that with the fact that the owners of 350z's are getting younger by the day due to the price drop on the vehicles and it's just a recipe for lower quality products being thrown on similar to the kids over at honda-tech. I'm sure replica companies sales are doing just fine if not better than before during this recession and with the influx of young blood in the 350z community. Either way, money talks and bs walks which is why the forum allows this to go on. If wheeldude pays his vendor fees, that's all they care about with all ethical issues aside. That is a whole entire topic aside from this though.

People that put authentic Volk stickers on their Rotas makes Mackin Industries (Volk Wheel distributor) a lot more stringent on who they sell replacement stickers to because of this! A person who paid a premium to purchase a quality product should not have to jump through extra hoops because someone decided to put volk stickers on some Rotas. For example, some lowlifes choose to risk their own lives by driving around with no insurance while the rest of us who pay insurance premiums also have to pay extra for "uninsured motorists" coverage. In both cases, it's just not right that we have to pay for their stupidity, selfishness, and disregard of how their actions effect others.

I'm not sure about the other information in this post since I am not Brian. However, all of my posts from my username has always been me and always will be. Plus, Brian has more broken English than me. (I love you Brian) Just pointing that out since it is blatantly obvious that he and I have completely different posting styles and vocabulary.

I remember when back in the day if you wore a fake Polo shirt you'd never hear the end of it. Now, if my car wears fake shoes I'd never hear the end of it. No I did not wear a fake Polo shirt.

Ok once.

I grew up in a poor hispanic area and we used to always see funny ****. The best was the "FOakleys", fake tommy Hilfiger shirts, fake polo shirts with the biggest horse I have ever seen, Solo jeans, and ben davis clothing from the swap meet. As a matter of fact they already carry the "swap meet special" sound systems and crappy car alarms... I wonder if I could find some Rotas there now...lol jk

wait, so let me get this right, you could care less that the wheel literally fell apart, the only part that bugs you is that there is a nismo sticker on it?

I think rick is bothered by how a Nismo sticker could cause a wheel to fall apart.

Oh don't get me wrong...that bothers me too. However, i've just learned over time that some people are just going to believe what they want to believe regardless. However, there are some people on the fence or unclear about the ethics behind "unethical" business practices and "fakers/posers" and I do not have a problem voicing my opinion on those matters.

Everyone as an end user has every right to purchase whatever they want. However, the fact of the matter is heat from people naturally come if people see some "wrong" in a situation. Just imagine what type of posts we would witness if we had a vendor on here selling fake Louis Vuitton wallets/bags. It wouldn't be pretty and for damn good reasons. Just because the particular item goes on our cars does not make it right or any different, but like I said...that is another matter altogether and is just my opinion. Refer to my earlier post in this thread regarding this very subject. There was nothing but crickets chirping once I made that same post in the other Rota thread when someone had no logical clue on why people bust his ballz. It's not rocket science. I was just clearly stating facts and evidence without referencing durability and all of that mumbo jumbo.
