Race ramps are a sweet item for those of you that trailer your lowered vehicles anywhere.

Nice,

I have a trailer that is about 83 inches wide, so just got rid of the 5 foot ramps in came with, They slid under the trailer in a ramp holder. I made my own 6'-8" long ramps.

I crank the front crank up a bit (while attached to the tow vehicle) and give the trailer an angle along with longer ramps lets me get up on the trailer no problem....

pics off to drift events........last pic shows where the ramps are stored...

My removable wheel well mod....lol

I grinded all the welds and free'd the drivers side wheel well from the trailer.

then i welded flanges (bent L-angle) and use wing nuts to secure the removable wheel well.

Those pics above are with the car on and the wheel well back on. But it comes off prior to driving the car up on the trailer..

I chemical treated all the rust with rust remover and then painted it all black again. These pics are old, but the current configuration has a welded bolt coming up from the bottom. So i just drop the wheel well down onto the bolt sticking up and then i attach a fender washer and a wing nut to secure it. I also have a C-channel welded to the inside of the wheel well that catches the lip of the trailer side and secures it there too...

They would be bigtime help for all of that. They made taking my Volks off easier since I didn't have to roll onto a 2x4 and then a double stacked 2x4 to get it to a decent height to jack the car up. Got them from their company... http://www.raceramps.com

What's the tow capacity of the Nissan? I've always wanted to be able to tow the Z if I ever get a trailer.

my Xterra? it has a 5000 lb tow capacity. so I barely make it weight wise with the car, trailer and 18 wheels........

the x pulls fine for someone like me who goes to events here and there as my life/work/schedule permits....

I bought my x more for colorado trips and off roading.....now, its lifted, bfg AT and some shrockworks sliders......working on the bumper/winch next.
