Decided to take my GF up to the Boone NC and hit the Blue Ridge Parkway then on a whim I decided WTF and ran the dragon. It was like a up hill / down hill auto cross with me stuck between 20 or so sport bikes. I kept up alright until the we got into the hard curves. My GF did great she didn't yell or scream at me at all. The sticky Toyo's did there job only broke traction once and i stayed in 2nd gear almost the entire run.

Worth the 4 hour ride for me, mos def going back again.

Couldn't get the deer to turn around took this outside my car after coming around a curve there were like 4 of them crossing.

If you look hard at the 2nd pic you can see a little tiny white Z car from the top of grandfather mountian

 

Man that is awesome- Hope you are staying in town for ZdayZ this coming Thursday... All we Z compadres will be there in mass - and this years ZdayZ will be the biggest ever if all registered show up... You are close enough - to come back a do the dragon with us - the photo ops will be phenom.... Stay safe... DP

im goin this weekend. so what kind of speeds do you get up to? whats the speed limit? cops pretty bad up there?

I saw about 2 cops but they didnt really bother any of us. I would say i got it up to 50-70mph on a couple of straight aways but averaged 40ish mph
