Default Can someone re-scale this please.

First and foremost, I have no idea if this is the right section for this. If it's not, mods, please feel free to move it.

I was hoping someone could scale this pic down so it could fit properly as a desktop background. Anyone that can do this I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Here's the pic's source: http://www.deviantart.com/download/8...by_MoonGod.jpg

And here's the pic itself.

What size monitor? This will never fit properly unless you crop. It probably should be sized to give you the correct height and then cropped for correct width. I can do some fancy "re-composing" PS, but even then it's gonna be tough - for me anyway.

My monitor is 17 inches. If you don't wanna do it cause of the difficulty that's fine, but if you do end up doing it I'd greatly appreciate it. And ya, I figured it'd be nearly impossible due to the length of the image, but I thought I'd ask anyways.

Thanks man. I take it that it's impossible to shrink the entire image down so it fits properly without having the crop the edges???

That's correct - to cover the entire monitor, you have to crop something off. I used PS and the "recompose" to keep more of the buildings, but there's only so much I can do.

If I size for the width, you'll end up with blank screen above and below. If I size for the height, you'll only see about one fourth of the image. Sorry - it's a really nice panorama, but not suited to your monitor resolution.

Appreciate it man. I'm using the image you resized as my background now. Thanks for the help.
