Should I Or Shouldn't I ? ...
dude guys seriously its not hard............I completely understand your thoughts on this, but its not like your putting a cake in the oven.....it takes more than 250 degrees and 15minutes x a few tries to melt plastic.......
Don't be scared......follow the DIY "how to" we have in the DIY forum and if anything leave it in a bit longer versus taking it out and trying to pull apart then putting it back in............i believe the DIY states 7 or 8 minutes and if not put it back in for another 7 or 8 minutes........
I went straight for 15-18 minutes each side and the housing pulled apart first try and the plastic was warm/but no where near "damaging" like you guys are fearing..
if not, find someone in your local area on the forum thats done it before and have a DIY headlight mod day...
give it a shot..

I want to do it so bad, but i am too afraid of ruining the light =P let us know how it goes, im a handy guy can fix things around the house, install things for the car but messing with cosmetics is iffy for me =(
I say try it yourself...just take your time. From the horror stories I have heard, having someone do it can be disasterous too. The guy I sent mine to was no good. I had to send one of them back twice and he had it for a couple weeks the third time he had my driver's side light.
