UK Freerace 370z build photos...

UK Freerace cars that are being put together by RJN Motorsport and is being run by Silverstone Racing Circuit and will involve just Nissan 370z's.

The cars will be seen at this years Autosport Show @ the NEC on the 14th to the 17th of Jan
Basically is just a big, real life size scalextric track essentially, but imagine anything from 2-5 different lanes/routes to take... but they are new 370z's on slicks i believe with extensive roll cages and under panel impact bracing... as they are expecting some large accidents the cars will be absolutely battered by the end of it The UK is the first of 3 or 4 they are doing here then Spain, Germany and France... UK should be the biggest!

You couldnt have a scalextric setup with only one car and you wouldnt need the bumpers if you didnt have something to knock into!

So, I had the good fortune to get an entry ticket and I have a slot in the 1st round on Friday.
Just heard this has now been switched, due to the bad weather, the the home of British Motorsport.... SILVERSTONE!! Result!!
Seems as there are 4 others of us that are members of 350z owners clubs in the UK that have managed to get through...
If we get through on the Friday we will need to go back again on Saturday... Gonna be a tight weekend for me as I have to get to a wedding in Cornwall on sunday which is about 400 miles away!
Will post more pics as I get them, and I promise that thay wont be taken by Mr M J Fox!!

Ok a bit slow i know seeing as the event was 2 weeks ago 
but had a fantastic time. For the Qualifier, Silverstone laid on a autocross/gymkhana/cone assault course. We were allowed to 3 runs on with the final one being timed. Unfortunately I was a little too slow to make it into the finals (struggled with the wet but drying conditions) but found this video of what happened the following day in the finals:-
