Hello everyone,

I just traded in my 06 STi for an 03 350Z for financial reasons. I miss my STi already and it's only been one day, but the Z sure is a nice car. It won't really compare to my STi being that I had a GT35R turbo and a bunch of other things done to it to make it mine, but I definitely think I will enjoy owning the Z.

I noticed the Z community seems to be as friendly as the Subie one. I got a couple waves today. I look forward to being a part of the forum and will update when my friend does a photoshoot for me.

Checkout the northeast section. There are lots of meet ups w/ ct and ma guys.

 

STI's are sssick. nothing like AWD. easy 300WHP.
You won't get the same power that easily out of the VQ35 but the 350z is still a cool lookin' car.

hope you enjoy the Z. i miss mine already, but its all good. i have another deployment comin up and have yet to make up my mind on what i'll have next . your STi was gorgeous, love the wingless look.

i did the same exact thing. went from a silver 06 STi to a silver 03 350z. i do still miss my subie, but the z's are real fun cars.

Thanks for the compliments on the STi everyone. I will surely miss it, but the Z also puts a smile on my face.

08panna: your STi looked clean, and I like the Brembos on the Z, I was hoping for a Track model, but this Touring I found was a good deal.
I hope to enjoy the hell out of the Z. I will try and stay away from forced induction until I get my own place next year. Suspension shall be my first step...

 

I did the same thing, though mine was an 05 with 06 front end conversion and bought a 03 350z. I don't miss the suby AT ALL, some pic of my suby:

OP, which dealership did you sell your sti to?

 

I had to do it for financial reasons. I also plan on moving out by the new year and this will help me save. I bought the STi brand new and just couldn't afford it anymore.

I traded it in with CarMax and sadly it will be going to auction. I sold most of the parts from it though and it was back to stock when I traded it.

I know, I know....but it had to be done. I'm sure I'll own a subie again...I only have like a billion friends with them.

 

^^^ dude, I would you have traded you my 06 350z with many mods (check my link) for your STI in a heart beat, only if you had posted here on this forum first

 

Why in the world would you trade for a stock z lol, if i was you id keep the subbie an just save up abit for the z, i would want or i should say my goal is to get another car which is going to be an sti love em.
