If I had those 2 black cars I'd go crazy keeping them clean. I garage my red Z, and I dont drive it in the rain, so I dont have to wash it everyday.

The 300ZX was doomed to the same fate of many Japanese sports cars of the time. The mid-'90s trend toward SUVs and the rising Yenollar ratio were both influential in ending North American 300ZX sales in 1996 at over 80,000 units sold (production for other markets continued until 2000). Probably the biggest killer of the 300ZX was its ever inflating price;[citation needed] at its release it was priced at a about $30,000, but in its final year this price had increased to around $50,000. This left many people questioning its value, and despite a final Commemorative Edition of the final 300 units shipped to America (complete with decals and certificates of authenticity), the Z-Car was on hiatus
Out of curiosity I just used an inflation calculator to see how much 29,108 equals in today's dollars.

What cost $29108 in 1991 would cost $45275.50 in 2009.

Also, the wiki article says in its final year the price increased to around 50,000. IIRC 1996 was the final year and the OP says his is a 91. I would personally find it crazy if it really did increase 20k in those few years but I'm not really sure. Maybe someone can chime in who knows a little more.

I think the close to $50k is with every possible option.......But it is pretty close. I turned 16 in 97, I remember lseeing Supra TT's, 300Z TT's and RX7's, all sitting on lots, unsold with mid $40k price tags. I was never going to get one new though........

I think Japan's out of control economy and exchange rate in the late 90's didn'y exactly help...

Cars look great, very clean.

Mislabeling the G is silly IMO, but its your car, enjoy.
