Default Jewelz Track Daytona

I hope I attached this correctly. In my defense of the pic, I had the Nissan mechanic with me so I figured it was okay!

One more. And yes, pics don't do the Daytona Blue justice. Just love those wheels and the Brembos are awesome!

Even though my dealer was terrible, I was still freaking out when I finally saw it. For those of you still waiting, it is all worth it!

Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you. You definitely look like you're having fun in it - keep us informed of how many accidents you cause while driving..

Fantastic! Especially that second pic - do you have any like that shot but with the rear hatch closed? The color looks stunning in that photo.

Congrats and welcome to the Daytona Blue track club!

Jill-thanks a bunch! Wait till you see yours in blue. Guys about fall all over themselves when they finally stop looking at the car and realize it is a chick driving it!

1stzever-LOL I'll have to keep that in mind!

PhoenixINX- first autoX is September 28th--yeah baby!

LowFuel-here is the closest pic I've got. The DBTC (Daytona Blue Track Club) rocks!!!

For a quick update, I also have my first stonechip. Getting an estimate tomorrow for the 3M. I have calluses on my shifting hand. Definitely takes some getting used to but I love it. The car now has 5 coats of Zaino on it. Looks stunning in the sun.

Awesome, thanks!
I've used Zaino for a few years now, very nice stuff!
However since it's the only thing I've ever used I decided to try something new on the Z - going to give Autoglym a try. Hmm maybe I will Zaino half my hood and Autoglym the other half to compare... will keep you posted.

(Autoglym is a British made polish that Aston Martin, Rolls, and Bently prep their cars with and recommend to owners.)

I can honestly say that I have not been a Daytona Blue fan until I saw Joiya's picture 4 threads up. That is the best color depiction of DB I have seen yet. It's not as "smurfy". Maybe it's the lighting, or my computer screen, but WOW

It's the ZAINO. It seems to make it look darker I think.

The blue is really stunning in person. I would have to agree that the majority of pics don't represent the true color. That particular pic is the closest I've seen to the real deal. I took the car to work yesterday for the first time and people were stunned.

As you can tell from the first pic, I've kind of taken the break-in period with a grain of salt. Well, last night I found a small parking lot that is blacktop with no curbs. A field backs up to the edge of the pavement. Turned the VDC off and let it go. How do I say this without causing panic? I had a minor 'off-road' excursion. Experienced some major push that I didn't expect. I totally expected the back to break loose and it didn't happen. Hmmm. All is okay with the car. Checked the rims last night and no damage done. Need to find a bigger parking lot and experiment a little more to see what happened!

Yes, I am single

Hey Jewel,

Nice action shot. Were you watching the rpm's during the donuts?

Um...yeah...sure I was watching...

Didn't redline. Started at a dead stop, left it in first. Can't wait until the official break-in is done

May I ask how you hit "135 with plenty to go" and stayed within the breakin rules?

Um....uh....well...it isn't as bad as it sounds (she said looking straight down at the ground). I had 600 miles on it. Personally, I think that is good enough to start playing around with it.

Would you believe me if I said I was possessed by the speed demon? Huge open by-pass without another sole in sight. The car just begs to be pushed. Don't worry, I keep the games to tracks and empty parking lots. Will only do it one more time with a camera If it matters...it really was awesome!
