Kinda call this Weird Lighting Wednesday (cuz I took the pics this week in different lighting than the usual bright sunshine).

Sun was very low, late afternoon.

No, not my real name on the plate. It's a local joke. My wife's maiden name was (and still is professionally) "ITO" and she's very well known in our community (and I'm not, as I'm not originally from around here), I took HER last name on the car, jokingly because many people I meet for the first time assume I'm "Mr. Ito".

Ran my roadster around town last night. Photo op.... curious to know how well my phone shot in low light. Not too bad.

And if one is gonna ask... Er, uh, yes, all the boxes and hanging bags are full of whills/tahrs. Mostly bike stuff and I'm down to "only" three sets for the Z and three for the roadster! (And a spare set for my daily) Far cry from having a dozen Z sets in our garages. Haha.

Normal light, normal car. The wife's car gettin' new loobikants, prep for the mountains.

I do have another car but didn't think to take shots of it.

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Two months later and the weird lighting persists (with a bit of help from my photo editor).

First time driving the car after four months of sitting in friend's driveway to deter burglars while she was out of town (then I just left it there. Ha!)

Battery deader than my Noco jump box could handle so used my daily to jump it then promptly (and stupidly) shut it off after driving only a few miles. Uhhh, doy? Took my Noco charger off the roadster, fed the battery for hours and it was still only 75%. Dayam, it were REALLY dead.

Only reason I traded my daily for the Z in her driveway...

That biannual thing. Filthy! Waiting for the shade out front to wash it.

It was lovely out before the afternoon rain and the setting made me feel like grabbing a couple of "as they sit" pics. Didn't bother with the other half of the fleet in the garage.

Thanks. It was $700, I spent another $600 in mods for sinewave controllers, dual motors, and higher capacity battery- power has tripled. LOL I still love my cars but high powered escooters are so much more fun than driving a car.

Yellow is nice but I still like the Monterey blue wrap. Variety is, however, the spice of life.

Unfortunately, wrap only lasts 3-5 years, so a new color comes every few years.

Ever have one of those "Turn around and look at your car again" moments?

This was the reverse. Last night, came out from closing the bar and found my car in an interesting (to me) lighting situation and all alone where there had been a number of cars before.

Had to snap a few. This is an unretouched, unedited (just a crop n' resize for posting) phone shot; just plain ol' "took advantage of the lighting."

By the way, didn't really close a bar. But I did have a quart o'brew that was tasty (with late dinner).

Just realized, I haven't posted pics here. This is what I go to replace my Lincoln. It's small and light enough to fit in my trailer. It's a fairly rare S with the JCW pkg. It's not fast, but with 207HP and being fairly light, it's quick enough for now and handles like a go kart. This will do until I can go back to work and get the car I really want, a GT350.
