For those that want to quickly replace their OEM maf tube and eliminate a potential leak location between the maf tube and the adapter the kit manufacturer provides.

I got the 3" low for my Greddy TT kit. Fit well. The only downside is that the maf bung is now a bit lower than before. The pipe is 6" long. My greddy setup with gasket between flat surfaces was 6.4". The difference was negligible.
Reason why I got rid of the OEM setup:
1. OEM is plastic = weak. Feared I would crack it with t-bolt clamp
2. OEM has a small bead. Coupler/Clamp has a hard time sealing/holding onto the oem maf tube
3. Removes the flat sealing surface between the oem maf tube and flange provided by greddy. 1 less boost leak
4. I can powdercoat it to match
5. Both ends are beaded
Drawbacks:
1. Its only 3" while greddy uses 80mm piping here. Not a big difference but its not the same. Oem is also 3" though so its not a big deal.
2. Lowers the maf bung. Probably would have been better to have my welder weld in a bung to a piece of aluminum with an offset
Does anyone know where to source a plate that can block off the bung? I don't require a MAF sensor any longer (using MAF output table of Haltech to simulate a signal). Thanks!
PS. I don't have this exact piece but I have a similar bung. My MAF bung is welded into my JWT charge pipe, so I cannot just swap out a 6" section with straight pipe.

. You helped me out with the Haltech a while back, I can return the favor.I have these MAF sensors in stock as well, because I use them on the charge pipes for the turbo kits.

Bought this exact part a week ago. Took my intake apart and tested for leak and there was none. I was thinking my rough idle was due to some air leaking around the stock maf pipe. So, since im a believer of "if it aint broke, dont fix it", i want to sell it. 50 bucks and you pay for shipping. PM me if interested. I did not even attempt to place this part on my car. I don't even think there are fingerprint smudges on the pipe. Let me know if you want pics. Thanks!
