So I decided to get my valve covers repolished and custom powdercoated candy on top to really make the color pop. Fun fun fun...found a stripped motor mount bolt, 2 loose valve cover bolts on the driver side, and 1 nut that was jammed on top of the rear corner bolt on the passenger side which made it a pita to work with smh....

Ironically, that was the original plan. My friend went on vacation and when he came back, discovered that the gentleman he told to polish the items first with missed the first step. He was more than upfront with me so I appreciate that and stated that he would gladly do it all over again if I was unhappy with it.
He sent me photos of the candy powdercoat and I honestly like it lol. The polish underneath would make the candy look a bit more transparent, but shouldn't change the hue too much so I am fine with it.
