Spent the last couple of days removing unnecessary brackets and misc. parts from my trunk area.. It's more labor-intensive than I ever expected but worth it. A couple of holes/scratches need to be welding/flapped but overall I think it came out well
Came out really clean Peter! How difficult was it to remove the rear speaker bar? It seems pretty straight forward. What did you do with the wiring of the rear speakers?
I remember reading a post that KingBaby wrote where he says that he felt that removing the rear speaker bar affected the rigidity of the chassis.

As long as you have a spot weld drill bit and a cutoff wheel for the tack welds, it's simple, just labor-intensive and time-consuming. It's also a tight fit in that area I was contorting in all sorts of directions to get leverage because I didn't remove my seats
And I've heard that as well, but I've seen many with everything removed and are holding up just fine, I will be caging it soon as well
Got motivated to remove my sound deadening since someone else did recently.. it was hell.

Thanks man, but you should've put a damn disclaimer with your pic I had a heat gun & scraper I can only imagine the hell you went through with just a flathead & hammer!

Thanks Blue, it'll look great once it's matted & carpeted; much more cargo space than stock & will still have proper points for the cage

Yeah, nothing like having the right tools for the job lol! I spread it out into three days, but I also did the two areas above the rear wheel wells behind the speaker bar. It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed it.

Took me around 6 hours including taking breaks to eat & watch TV
Last time I saw him was at a meet 3 nearly months ago. He said he was just stopping by and was on his way to Tijuana to meet up with a stripper "friend." No mention of male or female. RIP.
