Plan change, need a couple parts from spl so i can finish the tie rod adjustment. Had to postpone my alignment till thursday of next week. Ended up with a weird issue that i have never heard of with spl and they are on the ball with taking care of it. Love their customer service.

Hey, I am going after the front sway bar install today. I was looking at the picture you have to jack the front up, but also pre-load the suspension. Did you just rest the car on the lower arm with the stands?? Looks like it, but it is a side shot. I see, I think you you put the jack stand inside of the pivot point of the lower arm. I will just take a hard look at it once I get the car up.

I did not preload. Just installed. No need to preload the bar. Just makes it more difficult.

Took advantage of the small z1 sale today: oil pressure switch, z1 oil pan spacer, kinetix v+ plenum and oem shifter cup.

Parts from Z1 came in yesterday so some pics should be coming this week. Picked up a few paint supplies for the plenum.

Thanks jim. Do have an issue with it rubbing on the hood. Took off a small section of paint on the driver's side. Hoping tomorrow to resolve the issue. Will take pics of what i have in the works.

You know Rusty, it's a very scary thing when I can't set down a hot dog on your engine to warm it up a bit for fear of getting the ENGINE dirty.

Nice job. Hooray for OCD!!!

Hopefully in the next couple months, going to get some new seals and gaskets and really spruce it up. Need to earn some brownie points with the mrs first and do some more reno on the house. Nearly done doing the dining area. Just need trim to finish it off before i start on the next area.

Yikes! That is indeed messed up.

But good to see you back! There's a whole bunch of folks that I've "met" here that aren't around much (and I've only been here since like 2014). Has me wondering...

Can't wait for your updates. Your car is still in the "Mic's Top Ten". Heh heh.

Better off without that one says me. There's a reason counting your blessings and being grateful for the good things you still have is time tested. Enjoy them!

Thanks everyone! In many ways, things are way better now which is sad but true. Still have the rest of the family with me and get to see my grandson every day which is a blessing in itself. Just got approved for ssi and ssdi and making plans to pay of debt and work on the car again.
