Default what i have been up to past few months

so i haven't posted on the forums in so long. bought a house in October, so that was stressful and eventful all at the same time. i got married in January, so that was stressful and eventful all at the same time! but this is a car forum! 4 days before my wedding i was driving the z because i knew it was going to be months more before i could again. here in massachusetts we had the most snow in history. and it all happened in a few weeks. so i went to pick up my tux and go to the gym in the z. and this happened....

Dayam! That's not a bearing, that's the seldom seen aluminous grubbous spider, indigenous to Northern Japan!!! Known for it's ravenous appetite for eating bearing saddles!

Or something...

Looking good though, OP. In for project completion! Good luck!!

Glad to see the progress. Good thing you didn't put it on the dyno that day.

I kind of wish I did. Maybe they would have heard a slight tick. Or it blew up there instead of on the highway! Either way I've been learning a lot and can't wait for the finished product!

Without a build sheet I wouldn't have believed the seller. Next time beat the **** out of it or have the owner do it to show you nothing is wrong. Did you turn up the boost or anything?

Impressive. As I scrolled through the pics of your build, I kept thinking that it looked like you did all of that in one day.

Make sure you keep us updated.

I used a dremel wire-wheel at a slow speed to clean up old RTV off the block - as long as your careful, don't gouge and keep your rotational speed low it does an amazing job. I went through 3 wheels so buy an extra one (or two) when you pick them up.
