Default From the wreckage of Zoe...Nitro emerges PICTURE HEAVY

This is a picture journal of the next chapter in my Z story, you all saw Zoe (thread below) and of course saw my subsequent part-out thread. Well guess what......i got another one......free I'm not filing this thread with useless words. Pictures will do my talking with a note here and there. Everything is in cronological order up to date, pictures will be updated as bodywork/paint is finished and I start the rest of this MASSIVE project. Got questions? ask away! It's an 03 Touring model with VDC and 6MT with 120k on it (clean Kansas title). Some idiot tried putting lambo doors on it, failed, damaged it, ****ed body up, interior was decent, in need of TLC, hatch are destroyed, rust on all removable pieces underneath, trans ground in 3rd/4th/5th, clutch shot, brakes all shot, and dents! Without further ado:

LED tails = FUGLY

Lots of nice dents -.-

yup....

Ripped to shreds from what I dont know

Codes for fuel delivery, same codes you get when head unit installed wrong and you mess with wires......ripped it out, cleared codes, fresh fuel, octane boost = no codes

Decent steering wheel! In shock!!!

Thanks everyone No I'm definitely not scared of work lol, and I cannot wait to see how badass she looks all done and complete. I'm currently in the process of re-sealing, and wire tucking the engine while it's sitting on my garage floor Should have pictures up of that soon. Soon as I get the car back in my driveway I'm going to pull the harnesses all apart and clean up the engine bay completely before the engine goes back inside! Routing through the fender wells and wiper well as well. I'll keep posting as I go, nice to see everyone likes watching one come back from the grave It's definitely different than my 79 camaro lol.....more plastic!!!!!!

Default Small update

Body work is done, no pics cause I haven't gotten down there to take some lol. But I started working on the engine the other day. Stripping it down to paint and re-seal/tune-up. Wire harness is off and ready to be stripped organized, and tucked, plan is to have ALL wires in one bundle coming out the back and over to the battery tray location. Couple pics for ya xD

Old clutch coming out

intake off, valve covers coming off!

Nuff said!

Looks like the project is moving right along. Planning on painting yourself or just getting most of it prepped for a pro?

rusty: My friend is a trained painter, has years of experience, and specializes in Z's. From old generation Datsun resto's to his current purple custom chameleon coated GTR. He's moving to Florida and this is his last project before he leaves NC. Making this kind of special for me as it's the last car that will be repping his work. He did the bodywork and is painting it as well. I'm doing the mechanical part, engine, trans, gearing, and the entire interior makeover.
arba: Thanks man! I can't tell you how nice it is to see people actually interested in my little project lol It ain't pretty, it's a ton of work, something most people probably wouldn't attempt in a million years. BUT DAMN IS IT FUN!
