And here's the 04 Vert Touring.. I want this to be a great mountain driver... with enough power to beat the 2JZ in a straight line








And my riding buddy that goes with me almost everywhere I go whether it be to a car show or rock crawling

 

2 weeks after purchase.. JUST as I was about to start buying parts...

It drops two quarts of oil in 3 days... and starts overheating. It's now sitting at the shop, and I wait...

After 12 days in the shop..

They found out the tech lied about the job he did... and they took it for a test drive before giving it to me, and let's just say.... it didn't make it 2 miles before they had to call a tow truck..

The fun continues

 

Figured I'd update again..

The shop realized they couldn't do the job. The car is now at a Nissan dealership, so after I believe 16-17 days in the shop...

Nissan now says after all this ... " It's the thermostat"

But apparently there wasn't a 350z thermostat anywhere in Colorado so they had to fly one from Texas.

They claim they did a pressure test, and they also did a compression test. But can't figure out why it lost 2 quarts of oil in 2 weeks.


Again.. The fun continues.

 

Well after 19 days in the shop..

The car is finally back.


And I sold my jeep. Let the fun begin

Well.. I received a promotion. Car is now sitting in New Mexico awaiting my arrival. As I'm moving from Colorado to New Mexico.

Jeep is sold as I got a 2012 F150 as a company truck now, and I decided to also sell the Lexus, as well... I dont want it lol.


Within the next month the motor should be out of the Nissan, and it's getting a 6.0 with likely a decent single

Had some work done to the 2jz POS lexus, but the Nissan is officially dropped off in the shop to get the turbo put on and a few other goodies.

Other update. Lexus didnt get sold. Jeep did haha. And now I have a 2014 f150 with ecoboost!
