Watched the weather this morn. looks like Austin had some pretty good wrecks due to ice. Sorry to here. Hope it stays away from here.

 

Looks like you guys got the butt end of what blew through here. Be careful, DFW was like a bumper car rink.

 

Man, I work in a hospital in Houston, and the managers told us if evening people can't come in due to sleet this evening, we might have to stay!!

 

Yea it was bad yesterday morning.

Had a bunch of wrecks on the freeways up here

 

Just got word that it was snowing up in Austin and D-town....have fun. lol

 

I've missed two days of work so far. Monday and Today! Probably tomorrow too. Woot!

I cant believe its snowing in Austin and Im not there. But I am currently in Vancouver where its snowing out the butt.

When I was down there for school around 97-98 I remember it iced over really bad early in the year. Everything closed down for about 3 days. It can be pretty bad in Austin with all the hills.

 

Well take it easy driving those Zs. I know you guys don't got snow tires usually :P

 

Yea I spun out on hulen yesterday in the mornin because of the ice and I was only in 2cnd going 14 lol

Pretty fun since no one else was there and no damage occured

 

I guess your rear tires being bald had nothing to do with it huh?

 

No I had just gotten them replaced two days earlier.

I was on hulen near bellair and was going like 13mph and figured the middle lane would be the safest and as soon as I moved over about a 100yds later the back end came out and I just let nature takes its course. No damage though. It was worse the next day with the snow. I couldn't even get out of the parking lot bc of the snow
