qualifying went alright, its so subjective because the coach picked who was going to the tournament. o well, get to hit the strip...and maybe your avatar girl will be there

 

o, i didnt end up gettin the nismos. i ordered the flat black rotas but now i see the black xd9s for sale i might just have to cancel the rotas...decisions...

 

I'd rather get the rotas, if I were you. That xd9 is ugly.. I hate 7 spokes, and 6 are almost as bad. But then again, 2 people I know already have the rotas (in diff colors).

 

Ya I think Im going to wait for the rotas to get here to mount them to see how they sit on the car...what time are you gettin to the track? 5ish?

 

I'm leaving around 4 PM, so I'll be there around 5:30 PM. That'll give me 30 minutes of cooling time.

Ya I didnt get them because they needed to be re powdercoated. If the rotas dont look as good as Im expecting Im probably gettin the black xd9s if they are still for sale

I guess that means Im leaving waco at 4 so Ill get there by 5:30...thinkin about guttin my car to get deeper into the 13s

 

I doubt i am going to make it out for friday, but i bet the track will be pretty decent since all the NOPI cars will be out there testing and stuff.

 

Do you guy think I should lose the nismo wing for the strip? just thinking that the down force = drag. Maybe hurting my top end. Just for like most cars lose 2-5mph from a spoiler at top speed. Yea I know the I do not run thought traps at top speed but it is still at 100+. Just wanted your opinion? And it weight 8-9lbs.

 

I hope you're kidding, Travis. That 8-9 lbs won't affect you much nor will the spoiler bring down the trap. If anything, it's keeping your rear planted so you don't spin your wheels during your shifts.

I spin my wheels going into 4th. At least you don't get that.
