creed, depending on what motor you have and what your powerbands look like, that 7K shift may or may not be the best. Assuming you have the revup, 7K should be your optimum shift point.

edit - btw, I invited/challenged vicpham to a drag race on April 6th, because he seemed to have the closest time to mine around here. So if you can't make the 23rd of this month, you should come to that one.
hey what set up do you have?

We don't exactly have a club, per se, nor do we have any event planner. All I set up are the dyno days and the track days.
Chris is the SET for the 6th now? if there's going to be approx. 30 Zs there i'm definately going!!!

i'll see about getting some better gummies to eat up too!!!

Just so you guys know..

Nothing is set until we can get everybody to agree on a date. I personally think April 6th is too soon to have a huge turn out.
I still have to call the track and see if they'll allow some sort of a discount.
Nobody except the people in this thread even know about the April 6th race day. (I'll start a new thread in about 5 minutes)

Unknown - I only have performance 4 mods (popcharger, mrev2, spacer, test pipes)

Vic - I know a couple of places that have race gas. 1 in Sherman and 1 at the track. Why do you need race gas? It won't help you at all on the track since you're NA. Are you gonna spray or boost that night?

edit:
New thread (April 6th)

Btw, we also have a meet on the 7th, so if you Houston guys do come up, you can also come to the meet as well.

No Chris. Im not Boosting or Spraying. But the higher Octane does help out quite a bit though. When I ran at the track with higher Octane I noticed a good difference. I just want to run against you NA to have a good and fair race. But I will be probably be spraying by the end of April.

Vic - There's no reason for your car to be running any differently with race gas. Higher octane just means that it has less chance of predetonation, which shouldn't happen unless you're boosted or seriously spraying. It's just psychological. You're welcome to try though.

Cubu - Click on the link above for more info.

unkn0wn - You can see the timeslips in my sig, if you want to see the actual numbers.
