Oh hell yea, I want to be fastest NA car on this Forum, then go after the top Nitrous spot. I'll always want something faster and faster.

Sorry, I hadn't had time today to let you guys know.

Yes, the track will be OPEN so drag race day is still a go.

If you're talking about UpRev, I went there, but they were closed. I didn't bother going back though.

Haha, don't worry. I already have some things covered. By April 6th, I should be ranked around 7th. Now, if I can pull that off in TX, that means I should be doing .3 ish better in those Eastern States.

Are you coming this Friday, Jason?

very good question. my restaurant closes at 10pm. might not be able to get till 11. i really need to go one more time before my vortech install. i need to redeem myself after my embarassment on my first try. this with a lot less then 42psi in the rear tires, rofl.

Maybe, on your way to the track, you could bring some yummy food for us.

And yes, you definitely need to redeem yourself from your last race day. Plus, that way, you can see how much the Vortech SC helped your car out. Dynos don't do jack except gives you numbers that are meaningless. It's a tool for tuning. Track is where you see the results.

Definitely. Everybody knows that I love drag racing. I'm just glad that I got a couple of others hooked as well. And you definitely need better times. You got bumped off the list! You need 13.8 or better, so make that happen.

Can you run better than 13.99? If so, you'll need a helmet. Since you don't have one, you should arrive a tad bit early to borrow one from the tower. You'll need to trade your license for it though.

Hey Guys, I've decided NOT to make the trip for several reasons; I can't stay the night, and it's a long way from Ennis to Houston/Pasadena, If my rookie *** screws up my car

I'd love to meet you guys someday at the track though.

Tonight instead I'll be at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown to try and improve on my reaction time, shift_ing and 1/4 mile time.

My best time (only been twice) so far in a bone stock 06 350 Z, 6 speed is:
.319
2.107
6.030
9.163
78.87
11.831
14.081
100.42

I can't wait til they tell me I need a helmet (I bought one on ebay and was hoping to get it by today)

Good Luck Fellas and be safe...

Don't understimate the Ennis track. It seems to be a slow one and not many people (from the Z board anyway) do well on it. Just don't aim for something like a 13 flat, as I can guarantee you that you won't run nearly as fast as you may hope to. You also have to remember that we're in TX not MD or DE where they have more favorable variables.

I'm glad I get to see a new face at the track! Where will you be coming from? I'll be traveling Southbound from McKinney area. Let me know if you want to cruise down together or something.

edit-
Creed: You should just come. Nobody taught me how to drive and I had to figure things out myself. Trust me on this - it's so much easier if there's somebody with you helping you out and giving constructive criticism. BTW, you won't screw up nearly enough to damage your car to the point of undriveability.

Man I'd love to, but have to be here in the am to work, and some other stuff.

It will happen though, and thanks for all the encouraging words.
