Well, if she's into fast cars then I guess it won't be too bad. I think racers are allowed to have one passenger also, so if you want, you could have her ride with you.

But anyway, make sure she knows that when you get there, she leaves when YOU want to leave. She does what YOU want to do. And she should pay, especially if she's the older sibling. Unless she agrees to all that or most of it, then don't bring her. I can guarantee that she's only going to get bored and nag you to go back home.



And yes, cubu, it's $15 to race and $10 to spectate.

oh yeah i can pretty much guarantee that too... after a little while she is going to want to go home... which will be a severe waste of my money and time...

not to mention wanting to get something to eat on the way there and probably a few things from the gas station... blah blah blah... before you know it i'm out 50 bucks... on a day that was not suppose to cost more than $15 she isn't working right now otherwise i'd say you pay for your damn self!!!

i do hope that ben goes in this case so that when she wants to leave she can nag ben to take her home... cause i'm stayin' to race...

plus we gotta caravan to the Don Davis meet in the morning right???

what time does the track close??? i don't think that they will be running the track all the way to 11AM right... what are we going to be doing until then???

i guess go home take a shower then maybe catch an hour or two of sleep then get up and get going again???

I know this... she better make one of you guys her new best friend cause my pocket is pretty limited... i was just making it with just me to pay for... lol!!!

Naw, I was just joking. Yesterday was the final eleminations at Houston Raceway Park. The last time I saw something near this was 38 years ago at Houston International Raceway. Gene Snow set a record in a dragster at 200 mph and 9 seconds flat, LOL

The sound I experienced yesterday was so horrific, it would vibrate your guts, and deafen your ears.

Talk about Speed, wow! My 11 year old daughter had her head between her knees trembling. Yes, they all had ear plugs but me.

I have never seen anything like this in my life...

yeah, saw a top fuel dragster in Baytown a while. it set off car alarms in the parking lot, and left my ears ringing for while... your going to get your 11year to help you drive???

She's interested in learning. So, I'll probably teach her how to shift in the drive way without the engine running, and take it from there. That's how I learned on a 1956 Chevy.

As for Teah, the 23 year old who'll be coming with me, here's a pic of her modleing with my Z...

Brian, me and a few other north dallas people are meeting up at Starbuck's on 75 and Campbell (exit 26), so meet me down there around 7:40 PM.

And wow, we'll have 2 women joining us that day. That's a record.
