Thank you all for taking time to view this thread. Team 210 VQz will be hosting the first of a weekly meet that will be geared towards the San Antonio Import Scene. Details are listed below

When : Every Thursday nights starting 10/25/07 at 7PM

Where : Huebner Commons Shopping Center
Located across from Texas Hamburgers on the corner of Huebner and Babcock
9023 Huebner Rd
San Antonio TX 78240

What : Import tuners/enthusiasts getting together to check out one
anothers rides and discuss up and coming events in the local
and surrounding areas.

Here are some rules and guidlines that will be enforced :

1. No burning out, excessive speed or trying to drift while leaving or entering the lot, no excessive noise like revving your engine 20 times just because you want to... systems will be tolerated at a moderate level...

2. Please do not litter and leave your crap behind you... your mom isnt at the meet so pick up after yourself

3. When inviting others to this meet, make sure they know the rules. If we witness individuals having total disregard for the rules, the person(s) and the individuals that invite them will not be welcomed back again...

4. No drag racing. We will not be responsible if you are busted and or arrested for any type of stupidy due to your driving... Remember you are on Huebner and Babcock and there are alot of cops around. STREET RACING IS STUPID TAKE IT TO THE TRACK!

Other than that we hope that alot of you will be attending on Thursday and if not in the very near future! We are extending this invite personally to ALL the VQ enthusiasts here in San Antonio and the surrounding areas.. Take care!!!

anyone going tonight that has a 1/2 in plenum spacer?

I would like to check out how to space the strut brace in order to clear the plenum.

FYI, the 1/2 spacer won't clear the hood with the strut brace. You need the 5/16 spacer to clear the hood with the strut brace.

 

ya....ive heard that....ive heard of people spacing up the strut brace with washers??

That's on the 5/16 spacer so it will lift it. But the 1/2 I heard won't allow the bar to fit at all.

I have a 1/2" spacer and a strut bar on mine.............but its a G..

 

Ask for Ronnie tonite. He's driving DB Z. He's running 1/2" spacer. If not I am running the kinetix V+, my trut bar clears it. - "AX8" Tony
