It was actually a pretty hilarious sight . . . a mini-cooper leading a procession of almost 20 high-powered cars around the track -- two Porsches, an Audi, a Viper, an RX7, a Supra, and a bunch of 350Zs!!!

mods? I need the driver mod lol. I jumped in the z after i took a couple of laps with the mini and man the z takes turns so much smoother with so much more control. I couldn't go that fast though since my left tire was running on 10psi but i got that taken care of now.

If you have some pics from the meet & the track, please post them!

The track is great. And the owner is definitely a nice person to talk too. We got to drive 1-2 slow laps, then it definitely picked up the pace enough to push your car closer to it's limits. We were following one of the guys in a A3, and then Ed in front, me behind him, and Blaine in his RX7 behind me. We left everyone else behind and actually got to the rear of the pack where the Porsches were. We definitely pushed the cars hard on this course by the final laps and it is definitely a fun course. I got up to about 100 mph on the final lap on one straight. Ed was in my way . The NISMO could have gone much much faster as Ed said I was on his tail the whole time.

Membership prices are as follows:

$900 first time membership fee Life
$1500 down (refundable but only for insurance reasons must be given)
$90 a month after that (no matter if you go or don't)
$50-100 a event for half a day of runs each time you go.

The $1500 is for accident insurance. Let's say you hit someone out there on the track, they give the owner $1500 and you walk away and owe another $1500 again to the track owner I believe. If you discontinue your membership, you get your $1500 back.

I will post some pictures once Ron sends me a link. My cameras battery died overnight (my fault leaving it in sensor cleaning mode), and I couldn't take pics. But you can definitely see the whole track 100% from the hill they are putting the building on.

Hey, that Audi in front of me slowed me down! Actually, Bill, who was driving the Audi, was fast! After doing the laps, he informed me that he was in autocross also and he had raced cars for a # of years. Bill also told me he had an advantage since he knows the track well, so he had the "lines" down!

it was a blast, I was hanging with the lead pack, but I was getting freaked when looking in my rear view mirror, and the only thing I could see was a 500 hp supra nipping at my rear.

he said he hit 120 on the straightaways.......now that's power

+1 on the great pics! Would be interesting to run the track again with a tighter suspension and an inch drop. I was losing traction a bit in that turn out of the straightaway, almost came out from under me!

Hey everyone, just received an email from Eric tonight. Here it is:

Hey Ed,

Man, thanks a TON for bringing the guys (and gal) out to play today. The club is a class act. Hopefully everyone had a great time, and I'm looking forward to seeing y'all out there again sometime.

Hope the pics turned out well, and we'll talk atcha soon.

Cheers,

-Eric Beverding

When you all get a chance, please send Eric & Bo an email for hosting the tour today. They were able to setup the tour in short notice and I'm sure they would like to hear from you about your "road racing" experience today.

Bo Harris: bo@harrishillroad.com
Eric Beverding: eric@harrishillroad.com

Let them know how you feel about the track . . . I'm sure our 350Zs and our other fellow sports car enthusiasts (RX7, Viper, Supra) can attest to how great the track is.
