Chris do you think I should run in the rear the 275/35 19 - rays with falken 452 or my 03 touring 18 with 245/45 18 nitto 555?

The rays weight 52 lbs and the stockys are 50 but smaller patch.

Oops, I forgot to add that to the first post. We'll be meeting up at the starbucks at 9:45 and leaving at 10:00.

 

Not sure if I would run the A4 or not. It's sooooooooo slugish compared to the Z. Got a buddy who is supposed to be sending my a K04 for it. So then all I will need is the software and fuel pump. I have not once hung out with any audi crowd though.

I'm assuming they're the Nitto NT555 ZR Extremes. They don't suck, but they also aren't the greatest. I've pulled multiple 2.0s on them. Falkens are also about the same from what I've heard.

There's more to drag racing than just how "grippy" one thinks the tires are. Travis, take my advice and go with the Nittos.

 

the zrs are drag radials almost arnt they? The 555s are shitty street tires. They dont have grip in any wheather.

 

No, NT555R is the drag radial version of the NT555, which is the street tire.

 

They are the 555 zr like chris said. But I a good friend that is letting me use his DR. Should be better

 

Travis, I better see you beat my 13.2 this year, especially with a VQ35HR engine with mods. I hope to see at least a 13.3 from you on the 9th. It shouldn't be hard as long as the conditions are like what it has been recently.
