I had more fun driving to the track then racing at it. It was good to meet a lot of you, even though I already knew a couple. The lightning didn't do as well as I thought it would. I was really disapointed with the one pass I got off. I had a meeting with the wedding coordinator so I had to leave at about 1.

The truck ran:

I don't remember anything else. It was funny that the red 07 ZO6 stalled against me $80,000 car plus who knows in mods doesn't mean much if the driver can't drive.

I probably can't say much, I went easy off the line because I really didn't want to spin through 2nd gear on my only pass of the day. I know the truck could have gone in the 12s.

ok, i got an appointment this thursday at matchless for a tune, so i will be out at the track this saturday unless something unexpected comes up.

 

Sure, Ill let you make 2 passes on them. As long as you swap them back onto my car Ill be there this Saturday!

I just got my car back also. I've missed driving it so much the past 2 weeks.

I'll most likely be at the track this Saturday, unless I have to help my friend install his headers or study with the gf.


Make it 3 and you got a deal! hahah. Swapping is a lot more work than most people think. Can I leave your car on jacks or on bricks while I'm running your DRs?

I will try to be there. I am hoping to get my HFC on by then. My lsd won't be here until thursday. I won't get it installed in time. I am just going to drive to the track with the DR on the car.

I'm not sure, but when I started my car for the 3rd time since getting it back, it made this tire being slashed sound and the car shut off. Basically, a coolant line burst or something. So, there's coolant **** everywhere. I'm taking it back to the shop to get that **** fixed and cleaned up. Funny thing is, the car doesn't overheat and still runs fine(it seems), but I'm not risking ****.

They've done great jobs before (for me and other Z guys) and have gotten many praises, so I'm sure they'll take care of this. It looks like I'll be carless for at least a few more days. BTW, rest of the car was top notch.
