UPDATE ON BRANSON (MO.) Z FEST 2008!!
Plans are proceeding. Things have gone from "neutral" to "1st gear" and are accelerating.
The website www.bransonzfest is being updated and will be "Open For Business" very soon. Details re. the daily events, drives, host hotel, etc. will be included.
Officially the dates are May 8-11 but there is a drive scheduled on the 8th so I'll probably go down the 7th. Everything is wide open so you can come and stay as long-or as short-as you want.
I'll be posting updates.

Branson Z Fest 2007 had Z's from Texas, California, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, and New Jersey. I may have even left out a state or two.

Last year we had Z's from coast-to-coast..California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey and probably some I've left out.
In looking at the bransonzfest forum it looks like there are 3 Texas Z's so far coming. Why not join them?
This year we even have a guy coming from Finland.

So far I've read of 1 Z coming from San Antonio and he'd hooking up with a couple in Dallas for the trip.

i wish i could tell the future, if so i would be there in a heartbeat. unfortunately i cannot tell the future so i will know the week of and will let yall know.

 

The website has all of the hotel and registration info.
Just a word of advice, getting a hotel reservation is NOT the same as registering. They are 2 separate transactions. There seems to be confusion on this every year.

Early registration for BZF '08 will end on Sunday April, 20th at Midnight or when we hit 100 pre-paid packages. Once one of those two items are met, the pre-paid package price will remain $45 but it WILL NO LONGER INCLUDE A T-SHIRT OR TICKET TO '57 HEAVEN.

Just as an FYI, we are currently sitting at 77 registered packages (144 people) for the event. I expect the remaining early registration spots to fill up before we reach the cut of date. If you want to be in the top 100, you need to register NOW.

So far we have 7 cars coming from Texas and 10 other states and we're expecting a lot more. Hope you can join us.

 

An update to let you know how far folks are coming for this great event. I think I counted at least 5 from Texas.
